Dining: one restaurant, one lounge, two bars and an ice cream counter
The hotel runs Aaltos; the casino runs everything else. Hours below are the venues' own, as of 31 October 2026.
Illustration, not a photograph of the hotel
It took me a while to see how food is split here. The hotel side has one restaurant, Aaltos — a Canad Inns brand with locations across Manitoba. The casino side, run by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, has Toukies, two bars, an ice cream counter and a gift shop. All of it is under one roof, but the hours, menus and age rules come from two different operators.

Aaltos — the hotel's own restaurant
Aaltos describes itself as "fresh, authentic comfort food" with buffet and à la carte menus made in-house. At Club Regent it opens at 7 am and closes at 9 pm every day, which makes it both the breakfast room and the pre-show dinner room.
What stands out is the rota. Saturday has a breakfast buffet from 8 to 11 am; weekdays a lunch buffet from 11:30 am to 2 pm; Sunday a brunch buffet from 10 am to 2 pm. From Thursday to Sunday there is a themed dinner buffet from 5 to 8 pm. The full week is laid out on Aaltos by the day.
The Adventure Kids Club — free for children 12 and under — gives a stamp for each Kids Club meal at Aaltos. Spell out C-A-N-A-D in stamps and the next kids' meal is free. For a family staying two or three nights, that's a small, real perk.
The casino side, briefly
Toukies is the one place on the casino side that is a restaurant as well as a bar: the venue calls it a "stylish lounge environment" with HD screens and food specials. Coors Centre Bar posts a game-day burger for Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets game days. The Ice Cream Shoppe is exactly what it sounds like, and opens at noon most days.
These spaces sit in or beside the gaming area, which is 18+ in Manitoba with valid photo ID. A family with children should plan meals around Aaltos.
Dietary needs
The casino's accessibility statement says special dietary restrictions or allergies "can be reviewed upon request", that vegetarian items are available, and that menus are printed to accessibility standards with minimum font sizes and colour contrast. Aaltos's own pages don't add an allergy policy, so ask your server.
Winter and summer
In winter the point of eating in is obvious: you skip the car. In summer I'd still eat at Aaltos on a show night, but on a free evening I'd drive to The Forks Market, which opens its doors from 7 am to 10 pm daily and holds a crowd of food stalls. See The Forks for what's there.
Hours are copied from the venues' own pages on 31 October 2026 and are marked “subject to change” by the casino. Check before you plan a late meal.
