Pool, spa and fitness: mostly a list of what isn't here

No pool or spa is published for this hotel. A fitness centre is mentioned by AAA and Wikipedia, not by Canad Inns.

Illustration, not a photograph of the hotel

This is the page people find when they search "Club Regent hotel pool". I would rather tell you now than let you discover it with a swimsuit in your bag.

PoolNone published. Canad Inns' indoor pool and waterslide brand lists its locations, and this hotel isn't among them.
SpaNone published by the hotel or the casino.
FitnessAAA's listing says the hotel has a fitness center; Wikipedia says the same. Hours and equipment aren't published.
Hot tub / saunaNot mentioned anywhere I looked.

Why I bother with a whole page

Because the Canad Inns name sets up an expectation. Several of the chain's Winnipeg properties have indoor pools with waterslides, and the chain's own pool brand is part of its family pitch. Club Regent is the chain's casino-and-concert property instead. If water is the plan, choose a different Canad Inns; if the plan is a show, stay here.

The fitness room

Two secondary sources — AAA and Wikipedia — say there is one. Neither describes it. I'd treat it as a place for a short morning session, and I'd ask the desk about opening hours in the request form if it matters.

Moving in winter without a gym

Winnipeg gives you better options than a treadmill, if you dress for them. The Nestaweya River Trail at The Forks can reach up to 10 km in a good winter; walking a few kilometres of it is exercise with a view. The Forks Market building opens at 7 am, which makes it a warm end-point for a morning walk.

In summer

Birds Hill Provincial Park, home of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, is a provincial park outside the city. I haven't listed trails or a beach because I haven't confirmed them from a park source for this guide; Manitoba's parks pages will have the current picture.

If a pool or spa is a must, tell us in the request form and the desk will say so plainly rather than book you into the wrong hotel.

Where these facts come from

  1. Canad Inns — Splasher's Indoor Pool & Waterslides locations
  2. AAA listing and inspector notes (secondary)
  3. Wikipedia — Club Regent Casino (secondary)
  4. Canad Inns — Club Regent Casino Hotel page
  5. The Forks — about
  6. Winnipeg Folk Festival

Planning a night on Regent Avenue?

Tell the desk your dates and it will come back with what the hotel has open and what it costs that week — by email, usually within a business day. You decide after that; there is no deposit and no card number on this site.

When a request turns into a stay, the hotel or the booking partner pays us a commission; your rate is the same. Our business model · full request page

Ask for a room at Club Regent

Our booking desk checks availability with the hotel or a booking partner and answers by email. This is a request, not a reservation.

No card is asked for and nothing is reserved yet. If the stay goes ahead, the hotel or a booking partner pays this site a commission — you pay the hotel's own rate. How that works.

Thank you — your request reached the desk. Expect an email reply (usually within a business day) with what the hotel has for your dates and the current rate. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
